Auto Insurance Claims: how much should I settle for, home traction, doctors visits
QuestionI was rearended in September 09 and the other party was deemed at fault. The insurance company called me to settle and offered me $2000. My medical bills consisted on physical therapy, x-rays, doctors visits, home traction unit and prescriptions. My medical bills totaled just over $4000. On top of getting to doctor appointments, I am in graduate school and missed some school. I am still having some problems with my neck including numbness and tingling. How much should I expect to settle for?
AnswerGosh, that is a loaded question! Hehe. Really, without going over every scrap of medical billing, medical, history, venue information, claims history, physical characteristics, impact data, and on and on. . . it is impossible for me to speculate as to the amount you should expect on your settlement. I will happily discuss the issues, and I have an e-book that may help you to figure out your claim value. If you want to correspond with me directly about your case, you can find my e-mail at www.pettydetailsllc.com and you can also purchase the e-book there if you don't feel comfortable inquiring via e-mail. Sorry, but I would do you a disservice if I attempted to answer your question with the limited information you have given me.
