Auto Insurance Claims: how much time, injury attorneys, michigan statutes

In Michigan, how much time do you have to make a claim if someone hit you, but you made a police report at the time of the accident.

I am not a lawyer nor do I know the Michigan statutes that pertain to this matter. What I would suggest though is to call around to some local injury attorneys and ask them. Should not cost you anything for a simple answer to a simple question. They should be able to give you the answer you need.
