Auto Insurance Claims: MVA accident 3/28/08, side swipe, broken arm
QuestionI was hit by a man who's insurance company claimed 100% liability. The gentleman did not yield when turning onto a hwy and proceeded to sideswipe my entire passenger side of my suburban. My medical bills are at approximately $4,000 and the damage to my vehicle was almost $5,000. I am wondering what sort of number I should be expecting them to throw at me??
AnswerAmy,
Its hard to say because I don't know what your injuries are. $4,000.00 in bills for a broken arm would carry more value then $4,000.00 in bills for chiropractic treatment of a sprained neck. Really hard to say. Sounds like the impact may not have been as hard as a direct t-bone impact and is more like a side-swipe.
Sorry but I don't fee comfortable giving you a number. My apologies.
