Auto Insurance Claims: Claim question, police report, insurance company

I have full coverage comp/coll. on my truck and I backed into a tree.  Will the insurance company pay for it? Also, do I need to call the police to do a police report for hitting a tree or do I just call the insurance and tell them?  Thanks

Hi William,

Yes, your insurance comapny will pay for the cost of repairs less your deductible. You do not need a police report. Just call your insurance company to report the claim and they will tell you what to do from there.
