Auto Insurance Claims: auto coverage, collision coverage, auto coverage

Question
I recentley hit a light pole in a shopping center type parking lot i do not have collision . am i covered? it did alot of damage to my drivers side wheel 1500-2400 in damage.

Hi Edweina,

Unfortunately, if you do not have collision coverage then you have no coverage for this event. It is collision coverage that pays anytime you have a collision with either another vehicle or an object like a light pole.
