How long do i have to file a lawsuit against a repair shop that I believe blew the engine in my car

Each stste has different statutes of limitation. In most cases it is at least 1 year but could be as long as 6 years depending on your state. You should contact an attorney in your state to see what the statute of limitations is in your state for your type of case.
