Auto Insurance Claims: How to determine the fault?, car damage, san francisco bay area
QuestionHi! Does the insurance paying compensation mean and admit their insured was at fault and the insurer has taken the responsibility? If no, why should the insurer be willing to pay compensation on behalf of their client assuming their client did not file any claims with the other driver's insurance?
AnswerHi Ray,
If the other insurance company is willing to compensate you for your car damage and/or injuries, that means that they have determined that their client was at fault. This determination would have been made by a combination of their clients statement, any police report or witnesses and their own investigation of the accident.
I hope this information is of help.
