Auto Insurance Claims: Hail Damage to multiple cars in Missouri, hail damage, shop cars

If I Don't accept the checks the insurance company gives me and the estimates i got are All substantially higher than the checks offered Can I demand checks to be reissued
to me or do I have to go through a body shop? Cars are totally paid and have clean titles in my name only!

Hi Tom-

My experience has been that they will pay whatever it would cost at the bocy shop that they recommend less your comprehensive deductible.

I would recommend in this case you find out if that is the case and simply take it to the body shop they recommend.
