Auto Insurance Claims: Auto Ins., neighbors wife, neighbor
QuestionMy neighbors wife backed into their daughter vehicle. He owns both the vehicle the wife was in, and the daughters vehicle. Can the neighbor claim liability on the vehicle that the wife was in. Or would he have to file on the daughters vehicle and pay the deductiable? There was only damage to the daughters vehicle.
AnswerHi Julie,
If both vehicle are insured on the same policy then it would have to be a collision claim and pay the deductible. If it is a seperate policy, then he could claim liability on his policy to pay for the daughters damage.
I hope this helps
