Auto Insurance Claims: liability, personal injury attorney, funeral expenses

My wife recently died in a car accident.  She was in our car, but her friend was driving.  They swerved to miss a deer and rolled the car.  We have full coverage through American Family, as does the friend who was driving.  I am now swamped with bills, funeral expenses, medical bills, etc.  Do I have a claim against her friend's policy?

Generally, auto insurance follows the car not the driver, However, different states have different laws. You should speak with a local personal injury attorney to see what compensation you may be entitled to and from what source.
