Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: Manual Switch Ranger 04, manual switch, fire wall

Question
am having trouble with my Ranger 04 with the air conditioning manual switch, the only selection that works even when i change to a different option is the defroster, i know this is a vacuum issue but i would like to know from where the vacuum came, is from the Engine or a different part?

HI Sergio

Look in the engine compartment from the passenger side by the fire wall.  You will see a hose leading to the engine and one more hose leading inside the car.  Check those two and see if they are not broken.  There is a third hose that leads towards the wheel well follow that and make sure it is connected and not broken.  This should solve it let me know if I can help anymore.
