I am looking to purchase a 1992 Suburban in mint condition, however the front A/C does not consistently blow cold air.  Fault appears to be with the evaporator core.  Any secrets on how to remove and replace.  I owned a Volvo and replacing one was a nightmare.  
Your input is greatly appreciated.

Suburban Daryl,
I have yet to see one that is not a tough replacement. I have an online service that breaks down the removal and installation, and looking at it, it is just as bad as the rest. I will try to attach the screen snapshot into this response, if allexperts.com lets me. They haven't yet, though. If you send me an email address I can send it off to you though.
