Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: diagnose blower motor or other failure, c programmer, blower motor

Question
1998 lesabre blower motor slows and slows and slows until almost stopped.  If I unplug the blower motor then plug it back in, it starts again and then slows and slows.  Is the blower motor bad or a resistor how do I diagnose.

There are NUMEROUS possibilities and unless I had physical access to the vehicle and could put a set of A/C gages on your system the possibilities are:


1. Faulty A/C temperature sensor within the vehicle.

2. faulty A/C programmer.

3. faulty control head.

4. faulty blower motor power module.

5. faulty BCM (computer).


You need to have it diagnose by a professional with the equipment necessary to make a diagnosis.
