Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: 98 ford air conditioner, professional facility, freon

98 f150 airconditioner compressor does not engage when switch is turned to AC.  In looking under the truck I can tell the pulley does nt start to rotate when someone in the cab turns the AC switch on...
No cooling takes place

Most likely fault is that you have a LEAK of freon from the closed A/C system and when you lose the freon the compressor will not engage.

You need to have a professional facility loacte your highly probable leak, repair it and evacuate and recharge the system.
