I have a 1992 ford taurs sho with the 3.0 DOHC engine.  I would like to recharge the A.C. myself but I need to know the location of the A.C. low pressure valve.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The LOW pressure fitting is on the accumulator (receiver/drier) which is a large cylindrical canister located near the firewall in the engine compartment.

However, You need to use a VACUUM PUMP to evacuate the air from the A/C system BEFORE you can add any freon.

WHAT is WRONG with the A/C.
