Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: Cost of adding refrigerant, chevrolet blazer, 1997 chevrolet blazer

I recently had refrigerant added to my air conditioning system and think that I was grossly overcharged.  What should it have cost to add 3 lbs of refrigerant to my 1997 Chevrolet Blazer?

A can of freon runs about $6.00 per can. Some repair facilities have a MINIMUM labor charge of ONE HOUR and this labor charge can range from $20.00 to $60.00 per hour.

If you had to have 3 lbs of refrigerant, Then you have a leak in the A/C system that needs to be fixed or you will be forever adding more and more refrigerant.
