Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: Car Air Condition, car air condition, central vent

Hi,

I have a 93 toyota camry. Recently car central a/c vents stopped blowing air out. Other vents give air out, but only the central one does not.

When the air direction control knob is set to central vent, I hear light noise of turning but air still comes out through the defrost vents and other vents. Except the central vents.

A/c is working very fine and chills the car in reasonable time.

Any suggestion would be highly appreciable.

That's your problem. The small electric motor has stripped it's plastic gear and needs to be replaced.

It's been awhile since I worked on a Toyota but this is what I believe your problem to be, If this old memory is still viable.
