Question1998 Volvo S70, non-turbo, 2.4L, with Climate Control (CC).
About 2 weeks ago, my AC stopped cooling to the freezing temperatures I was accustomed. The driver's CC cools a little bit, but the passenger CC is just regular temperature. I have it set at maximum cooling with Recycle ON. I checked the refrigerant, and it is 24 - 44 when the compressor kicks on and off. At maximum cooling, I noticed the compressor kicking on and off every 10 seconds at idle. I just replaced the relay also.
Suggestions appreciated.

AnswerYou stated "I checked the refrigerant, and it is 24 - 44 ".
I do not understand what you are saying here.
My first thought is that you have a loss of refrigerant (freon) from one of the A/C components and you will need to have the pressures of the A/C tested via a manifold set (A set of A/C gages) to verify correct pressures and volume of refrigerant (freon).
Let me know.
