Question1993 Suburban with front and rear heating and cooling. After the battery had been disconnected for about an hour and reconnected, I discovered the controls for the front a/c and heat, and fan were out. However, the rear controls worked, using the rear control panel for the rear a/c and heat. I checked the fuse, and it was OK.
There are no fusible links listed for the a/c-heater, and only one 25amp fuse in the fuse block for both front and rear units. Help!
There has been no problem 'til now.
AnswerI really do not know WHY the front system is not working. Just removing the battery cable should not cause this type of problem.
I do not have an electrical schematic for your YEAR and MAKE of vehicle so I can only suggest that you find a reputable reliable facility to perform the diagnosis.
