Auto body repair & detailing: door panel, grab bar, retainers

Have 1996 GMC Sierra2500. Need information on how to remove door panels.

Answer
Look for retainers all around the outside of the panel and under the switch plate and near the inside grab bar. Some outside retainers have a center to push in to release, usually found at the back of the panel. Use a trim removal tool (cheap at your auto parts store) to pop off the panel.
