Does the front air bag sensor have to replaced on a 2005 Nissan if the car was hit in the front? Iread whereas these sensors aoutomatically re-set, is it tru?

Jeff,I can't be sure on that because different cars  change procedure from year to year.The safest bet is to contact a local dealer and they can give you a list of components that need to be replaced after deployment.Sometimes computers and clocksprings need to replaced as well as seatbelts and buckles.
