Auto body repair & detailing: Scratches on van finish., paint splatter, toyota van

Question
I unintentionally used a sponge with a scrub finish to remove paint splatter on my 05 Toyota Van. It removed the paint but scratched the finish. How can I remove the scratches short of a paint job?

Answer
You can Get some rubbing compound (3M is the best) from your local Napa type store and buff your car with a buffer. Then buff with a machine glaze also 3M. Then wax the whole car. Or it will cost about $200 to have a body shop do this for you.
