Auto body repair & detailing: door lock, screw driver, autobody shop

Question
I had a car stolen, they put a screw driver through door lock. That is easy to fix, what is not is the damage around the lock hole. Thought I had seen a steel plate that can be bought/used to repair the hole for a new cylinder door lock. Any ideas?

There is no easy fix for what the thieves did to your auto. An autobody shop can fix it but not without a large bill. In your auto supply store you can buy a self adhesive cover if the damage is not to severe. It is basically just a nameplate that goes around the lock cylinder with your cars insignia on it.
