How do I figure out about how much paint I will need to paint my car?

Well to help you I must Know if you are going basecoat clearcoat or single stage and i have to know what kind of car and how big is it? I need this info    

I am planning to use single stage, and the car is a '67' VW beetle.

Answer
If you use sealer that is almost the same color[they make a colored sealer] then you will need a minimum of two quarts of paint. With the hardener and reducer it will make approxametly one gallon. If you have never sprayed a car before you should get an extra quart. Nothing worse than running out of paint. Use an hplv spray gun [high pressure low volume for the best results.
