Auto body repair & detailing: cant open drivers door, interior panel, chevey

i have a chevey lumina mini van  1994 i cant open the drivers door  it seams the latch is stuck  i can lock it and unlock it  but makes no differfence
aney sugestion of how to get it open so i can fix proberley by replacing latch if needbe

Seams like the latch or rod is broken. The only way I know how to open is to take the interior panel off and try to open it manually. You will have to look close with a flashlight to figure out what is wrong. But first put window down and pry the edge of the door over the handle open a little bit and look for any prob.
