hi brian- i rcently heard that if you heated the metal up with a tourch, get it red hot then throw a wet towel on it, it would shape the metal back to its original shape.  is this true?

If you heat metal up with a torch and get it red hot you will ruin the metal and prob. get burnt. That does not work. If it did I would be out of buisness. That is an old tale. It will shrink it some but not enough to be helpfull.  Hope this helps.
