Auto body repair & detailing: POR-15, rust problem, paint supplier

I am restoring an '83 Supra and I've got a bit of a rust problem in a few areas, particularly in the rear of the car. Through a forum that I frequent (celicasupra.com) I heard about a rust kill and prevention paint called POR-15. Is this stuff as good as they say it is. If so, how long should I expect it to last?

 As a rust preventer, we use a product called Rust Defender.  You should be able to find it a any paint supplier.  We know this product works.  We have never used the POR-15 so we cannot give any quality comparisons.
