Auto body repair & detailing: Loose door, 2000 ford windstar, ford windstar

I have a 2000 Ford Windstar.  The sliding door closes but I'd like it to close tighter.  The weather stripping around the door looks fine.  Any idea how I can tighten the closure of the door?

The weather stripping may look ok but the metal under it might be damaged, possibly by something like a seat belt buckle being closed in the door.  Check to see if there is any damage.  If not and you simply want to have a tighter closure that is a little more tricky.  Your best bet would be to bring the car to your dealer and see what they say.  Being that the door is a mechanical sliding door it may be the case of needing a new sliding track.  But the dealer might be able to tell you if a simple tightening is all you need.  Again, check for damage and if there is none then go to the dealer.
