QuestionActually, I stand corrected... it's not on the front windshield, only the sides and back.

-----Question-----
I have a 2000 Toyota Solara SLE, which I bought used. As far as I can tell, the car was sold new with window tinting on the windshield and side windows. Do you know what the tint rating is for this car?
I have just moved, and Virginia has laws regulating how much tinting my car can have.

Hi Ben,
How much tint is on the windshield? The entire windshield or just a strip along the top? Send me a follow-up.
Kevin
AnswerI do not reside in Virgina, but I believe the light transmission regulations are 50% (front sides), 35% (rear sides), and 35% (back window). If you have no aftermarket tint, then you'll be fine. If you do, then buy some 50% tint at an auto parts store and see how it compares to your windows or just have someone replace it.
