Automotive Plastics: TOYOTA CUP HOLDER, cup holder

HI I HAVE a1999 Toyota solara. one of the rings on the rear cup holder broke. Its a clean break.  It is under pressure as it is "spring loaded."  

What type of glue should i use. thanx

Hi Rick, There is not a good adhesive for this application. We, plastic repairmen, usually deal with similar cases by welding the severed pieces with the help of a 40 watts soldering iron. For reinforcement you may use more material as the one the part is marked with, in the invisible side (ABS or Polycarbonate or a mixture of them both.)These plastics are rather toxic, so weld in a  well ventilated place.
