QuestionQUESTION: I´m trying to locate the correct fuel pump for this truck. The question is: WHAT IS THE PART NUMBER and where can I get it. Thanks.
ANSWER: Hi JM,
I'm not sure I've ever heard of a CUCV 1008. You can typically get part numbers right off of the part.
Thanks for the question, I hope this information was helpful to you.

QUESTION: Fred, the CUCV 1008 (Commercial Utility Cargo Vehicle) is a 5/4 Truck made by Chevrolet for the Army. It was produced until 1988, I think. http://www.public.asu.edu/~nate123/CUCV/Field%20Truck.htm In this link is an explanation of what this is. The problem with my truck is that there is no reference of the fuel pump because someone removed it. Anyway, while I was writing to you yesterday someone brought me the reference of the fuel pump which is FP 906. Thank for your help anyway.
AnswerHi JM,
Yeah, I'm glad someone else was able to assist you because we don't do anything heavy here. Cars and light trucks only, under 1-ton capacity and under 8500 GVW.
Good luck with your quest.
Thanks for the question, I hope this information was helpful to you.
