Hello,
I recently had a CD radio installed in my DeVille which only played cassettes.
After this was installed by professionals I started having my car's security working only intermittently.
My remote would sometimes work, but other times it would not work.
When I would use my key to unlock the door, the horn would start blasting away, lights flash & would continue for a few minutes.
However, other times the remote would work & no problems, but... sometimes though it would work, the horn would sometimes start blasting when I turned the key.
So... when I go out to my car I never know what is going to happen.
The radio installers too out the new radio & reinstalled the old radio which worked fine.
The installer company said they did not cut into any wires so what might the problem be?
How can I permanently reset my security system?
This inconsistency of a blasting horn, etc is quite nerve-wracking!!!
