Car Alarms: 92 deville horn alarm, fcc id, key less entry
QuestionThe horn / alarm will go off when the key fob buttons are pushed a couple of times. Am thinking there is a panic mode within the key less entry fob programming. The fob has three buttons door; open door, lock and trunk release. The only way to get the horn to stop that i know of is unhook the battery. How can i fix this?
AnswerTry replacing the worn remotes. Sounds like the brass connection
is sticking inside the current one sending a panic
trigger.
www.REMOTESUNLIMITED.com and use the
FCC ID on it to try to get a replacement.
Until then, remove the battery so it's not
transmitting.
Good luck.
