Car Alarms: alarm, nissan pathfinder, inset

i recently bought a 1995 Nissan pathfinder SE, with an after market alarm system. randomly throughout the day the alarm goes off, with out anyone touching it, or the keys. how do i stop this without getting rid of this feature, and it not costing a lot?

Try this:

Not certain of the system you have there,
but MOST knock/impact
sensors have a wheel inset into
it to turn up or down
(counter clockwise is down).

Locate the sensor under the dash and turn down or
simply unplug it. Should be a little oblong box
wire tied up high under the dash, and would
blink when it detects vibration.
