Car Alarms: Car Alarm, car doors, safety feature

Question
When I use my transmitter to set my alarm/lock car doors, the doors lock and then immediately unlock, but the alarm is still set.  What do I do lock my doors while setting the alarm?

Answer
Sounds like a Japanese door lock system.
ALL doors especially the drivers need to be
colsed prior to pressing the lock button.

Make sure this is happening as it is a safety
feature so you don't lock the keys in.

Remember, doors have to be closed
to lock doors.
