Car Alarms: micro alarm 8008-99, hyundai sante fe, 2003 hyundai sante fe

i have a 8008-99 micro alarm in my 2003 Hyundai sante fe

everything works fine except remote start

car was in getting serviced and they left battery disconnected whole day

when i got car back everything worked ok except when i hit aux button to start car ... it starts, runs for couple of seconds and then shuts down

any ideas how i can reset the system?

Only reason I could think of here is that the
transponder bypass module used is not sending the
key signal.

You will need to check on the transponder bypass used in
this installation. Sounds like when the battery was disconnected,
the bypass module used lost programming.

Take it to the installer who put it in and have it reset.
