QuestionI have a remote car starter which works fine whenever I want to start it from my house. Once in a while, when I turn off the engine and leave the car, the car starts by itself.
AnswerWell. if it's an LCD type remote, the remote starter may have a timed
start, like for the mornings. But without inspection, I am
guessing that if no LCD 2 Way system is in there, someone else
may have a transmitter that you are getting the signal from.
This can happen, but rare.
It's more likely there is a setting allowing it to do that,
or a temp sensor triggering to come on in colder then freezing temps.
If unsure, take it to a car alarm shop for inspection.
Can't hurt.
