Car Alarms: 1993 nissan maxinia, nissan maxima, security light

I have 1993 Nissan Maxima that I just bought. It start up with no problem. but when i went to drive it just shut off on me and now i see the security light flashing. and it would try and start but it wont. when ilock the doors waited 15 min.i reopen the door and the alarm went off. i had to go to the passenger side to turn it if. it would not turn off from the ignition. if you you can please give me some tip that would be great.
