Car Alarms: 2003 cavalier with silencer alarm, 12 volt, swith

Question
I cannot find the toggle swith or button under dash.  How can I disarm the alarm system so that I can start the car.  The battery fell out of hte remote, put a new battery and it still does notwork.  Do you know of anyway to disarm it so I can start the car and go to work.
