Car Alarms: viper alarm doesnt work on a hot day ?, keyless entry systems, car alarms

hi,

I've had a Viper 460hp ...for about 4yrs ..for the last 2yrs when it's really hot outside it won't respond to the remote? it especially won't turn off ,
even if I crack the window the heat seems to effect this thing?
can anything be done to remedy this? I can't take it back to where I bought because it was Circuit City and they are out of business. thanks, ken
