Car Alarms: car alarm, jeep cherokee, coke machine

I just bought a 2000 Jeep Cherokee and it has a Star Guard alarm sticker on the window but I did not receive a button to turn it on or off and I don't know if it is even there. I am not having any problems locking the car.  But if it has an alarm I would like it to work. How can I tell if I have an alarm??

I beleive it's an obsolete system if it apears to
have a "coke machine" style key switch.

Key replacement would be exceedingly difficult.

My suggestion is to not try to locate a replacement as it will likely
to be allot more then replacing the system with a fresh set up,
that also can control door locks and even remote start if you wish.

But if not, removal is the next step.
