Car Alarms: Toad A101CL emergency disarm mode, site search engine, search bar

Hi. My alarm works fine with the original remote. When I use the emergency disarm feature it turns off the alarm but the engine is still immobilised. The same thing happens when I add a new key to the system. I am left with only one remote .  risky.. Help Please ??
