Car Alarms: 1999 Mitsubishi Montero Sport Alarm, mitsubishi montero sport, mitsubishi montero

I have the above subject vehicle.  I baught it a long while back, and just recently did some maitenence to it.  One of the things ment disconecting the battery.  Well when it was reconnected, the alarm armed itself, and i am unable to turn the truck on.  I have tried many things, including a previous answer yall provided.  The truck has a little red LED light that can be pushed next to the steering column.
Ive tried,
1. connecting the battery/turn key to on position/pushed button/turn to off position - DOES NOT WORK.
2. connect battery, turn key to on position/ push button/ release button - DOES NOT WORK.

Im just frustrated that i have been at it for a few days for various combinations, and nothing......please help.

I might try to look for the pre-delivery fuse, which will turn on essentials to drive, but i wld need to locate it.  any help would be greatly appreciate.
