Car Alarms: Clifford alarm on a 1991 Ford explorer, clifford alarm, google search

Hi, i recently bought a 1991 ford explorer from an auction, and it had a Clifford xl 1000 alarm but i never got keys or the remote. It started and ran for about a week after having a key cut, but then it just stopped working. is there a way to just permenantly dissable this alarm system ???
