Car Alarms: car alarm, nissan altima, auto responder

hi I have a  nissan altima 1996 model .. I have a problem with the anti theft alarm .....My battery was down and i had a jump start to the car and from then my alarm was off......I disabled the siren thing but still this continues and the LEDs and lights are flashing . I dont know what is wrong .....Please help me out regarding this....
