QUESTION: I lost my car alarm...would you guys happen to know how to unplug the alarm system?and will the car still start if I unplug it?because when I open the door the alarm goes off

Well, yes it actually does "do something". It explains that your
vehicle has the VATS system in it from Chevy and shows you how
to get the proper equipment to bypass it.

If you tried the search as suggested, you would have also seen
past postings for valet override for after market alarms, and even
questions answered about removing after market alarms.
