Car Alarms: Lost Alarm Remote, jeep cherokee laredo, jeep cherokee

I lost the alarm remote to my 1991 Jeep Cherokee Laredo. I need to know where I can buy another one or disarm it so I can drive it? When I got it the alarm noise was disabled but i still needed to push the button on the remote to start it. What can I do? PS I don't know the name of the alarm company!!!
