Car Alarms: silence audio car alarm, car alarms, silent mode

Hi, I was wondering how to silence beep when activating and disarming car alarm. I think it is to loud and embarassing. Please advise

Hard to say as all car alarms differ.
If it has a silent mode, that info would be in the manuaL,
and would likely have a sequence of remote and ignition
triggers to set it up.
