Car Alarms: alarm upgrade, oem factory, good luck

Hi, I have a 05 explorer and i would like to upgrade my factory alarm to be able to sound when opened and work more effectively.
Is it possible without having to eliminate it.

No not in the 05' Explorer. You would need to add an alarm
(basic at least) system to enhance the OEM-"factory"
piece. The Ford triggers are not set up to honk the
horn and would require extensive relaying
to make that happen the way you'd like. :>(
