Car Alarms: Alarm on Nissan 350Z Coupe, nissan 350z, resident technicians

Question
The factory fitted alarm on my '04 350Z has activated several times recently for no reason. Any ideas as to why? A friend says windy weather can be the cause if the air vents are left open - is this true?

I unfortunately don't know the
system you are working with to advise
you properly on it's functions,
features, or trouble shooting
